Yoga with Claire has been a really positive and empowering experience. As a transgender person, I had always been very apprehensive of attending a yoga class, but Claire made it a very safe space for me which enabled me to really enjoy the practice and begin to connect to my body in a positive way. I would highly recommend her, especially to other trans folk looking at getting into Yoga.

When people think of yoga especially when you're older you might think ‘it’s not for me, I’d have to be fitter or I have a health issue that would rule me out’. I have been taking yoga with Claire for a number of years now. She ensures that she understands the issues you have, keeps you safe, tailors the practise so you get the best out of it and best of all makes it fun.

Claire brightens my week with her beautiful yoga practice that I have enjoyed for the past few years. Her lovely calm, nurturing manner is empowering and invigorating. Whether face to face or on zoom, she encourages and enthuses. Friday is my favourite day of the week.

I’ve practised yoga with Claire for three years now and it has transformed my life.
Before starting yoga at the age of 50, not a day went by for me without feeling postural pain from sitting too long, a slipped disc and sciatica. I was literally seizing up so decided to try her class because I knew it focused on functional movements. After six months changes had already taken place and I felt that I’d ‘got my body back’ but knowing there was still a long way to go. Claire encouraged me to be kind to my self and tune into my own body’s needs, I’m now finding the joy in movement again. I would recommend Claire’s classes to anyone.
